We finally told Annie that she could have a friends birthday party this year (her very first one), and she was so excited! She decided months ago that she wanted a Fancy Nancy Birthday Party. It was an easy theme to work with – very girly, frilly, and of course, fancy!
I love this picture below because you can see the sign Annie made for the chair she would be sitting in. It says, “Fancy Annie.”
Annie loves decorating for parties. We were just about done, when she said we didn’t have enough streamers. So she took it upon herself to add some . . . . notice the row underneath the cabinets as well as the counter.
This party was all about Annie and what she likes to do best! We first started off with a treasure hunt to find fashionable accessories so the girls could get “ready” for the party. They were like a stampede of elephants running around the house and yard searching for their clues and treasures . . . . they found rings, necklaces, sunglasses, and of course, boas! Annie loves treasure hunts, and she loves dressing up, so it was the perfect way to start off the party!!
Annie also LOVES to do craft projects . . . . so the girls all made fancy crowns, just like the one Fancy Nancy wears! The girls loved decorating their crowns, and they all turned out adorable! I also painted all the girls nails, another thing Annie loves. (side note: the two girls in this picture with Annie, Riley Robinson and Abigail Talbot are Annie’s third cousins:)
And of course, who doesn’t love presents? Annie was introduced to the world of Littlest Pet Shop . . . . it seems to be a popular gift to give these days.
The party was a definite success!! The girls loved it and we loved putting it on! Happy Birthday Annie!!
