Well, we headed up to Vancouver for Memorial Day weekend to visit Dan’s parents. Scott and Elisha decided to come up too, and Brian is home from BYU-I for the summer, so we had an awesome weekend spending time with them. Vancouver is such a cool city and there is so much to do there, and I love doing new things each time we go.
This was our first time to Science World and the kids just loved it!
When we first got there, we saw they had an Electricity Show later in the afternoon, and Dan said, “Oh, we have to go to that . . . . Leah will be perfect for the part where they choose a kid to come up and touch the ball and their hair stands straight out.” And sure enough, when it was time to pick a volunteer, the guy was looking around at all the kids with their hands up, and Dan said, “Leah, raise your hand!” and as soon as her hand went up, the guy immediately picked her. Her long straight hair was just what he wanted.
Granville Island
We headed on over to Granville Island for the evening. We walked around, went into the Kids Market, found the best costume shop, played at the little park, chased birds, ate dinner in the Public Market, looked at the boats, and enjoyed the view of the city. What a cool place.
