Cinco de Mayo fell on a Saturday this year, and I just couldn’t pass up this perfect opportunity to throw a party, I mean Fiesta! I decided to do Cafe Rio for dinner, and had everyone bring a part of it. This is why I LOVE having a big kitchen island . . . .

When we realized we were going to have well over 30 kids at our house, we knew we had to up the outdoor entertainment somehow . . . . so we rented this thing for the evening! It was awesome and the kids all LOVED it. It definitely served its purpose well . . . . keeping the kids mainly OUTSIDE:)
Seriously, looking at these pictures, I’m just amazed and extremely grateful that no one got hurt!
The adults just relaxed, ate, and had fun chatting inside! Completely oblivious to the craziness outside:)

I finally started blind folding the older kids. I knew the piñata wouldn’t last too much longer!
And I was right! Ally gave it a good smack, and the body went flying! And then the mass rush in began:)
The candy was still all in the donkey body . . . . so good thing Scott Talbot was there to shake it all out!

We ended the night with root beer floats and churros (brought by the Bellows) for dessert!
