Oh my, how we love this baby! I can’t believe she is already 3 months old. She is just the perfect little addition to our family and we are all just obsessed with her! She is such a sweetheart. She hardly ever cries and is usually very happy and smiley. She does get a little fussy for about half an hour before bedtime, but I think that’s just her way of telling us that she is ready for bed. We wrap her up in her blanket and she immediately starts calming down. And we can just lay her down in her crib awake and she’ll go to sleep on her own. She consistently sleeps 8 – 10 hours straight every night. Her record is 11 1/2 hours. This was about a week ago. She went down at 9:30 and slept until 9:00 the next morning! Yeah, she really is a dream baby. She still doesn’t like her baths, but that’s really the only thing that’s not ideal about her. She loves to “talk” and makes adorable little cooing sounds. Her legs are getting stronger. She likes to stand on our lap and push off with her legs. Her neck is getting a little stronger too . . . . she’s finally starting to be able to hold her head up on her own, which is good because she does not like tummy time. Well, that’s a little about Kate at 3 months old! She’s just our little peanut and we all can’t get enough of her!

The Oregon Coast–Pacific City Beach
We wanted to find another great beach to hang out on for our last day in Oregon. This time we headed south, hoping to escape the fog, which we never really did. Oh well. We stopped in Pacific City and found an awesome place to spend the day. The beach had fun rocks that the kids could have played on for hours!
This beach also had something else very cool . . . . the hugest, steepest mountain of sand I’ve ever seen! The kids had so much fun climbing up and then running down the hill as fast as they could. It was so funny.
I was pouring sand out of their pockets for days!
Boys turn! These four boys are all about 9 months apart. They had so much fun playing together!
We headed to the Tillamook County Fair on Saturday night to close out the week. It’s actually a pretty good fair, being recognized as one of the top ten Blue Ribbon fairs in the nation.
And the world famous Pig-N-Ford Races, that are exclusively at the Tillamook County Fair. This was so bizarre . . .These guys run to a pen, grab a pig out, start up their car, race it around the track, come back to the pen, switch pigs, start their car up again, and drive around the track again, and then do it again even one more time. Crazy!! I wonder how this event even started . . . . Pretty entertaining to say the least!
