Dance Recital Photo Shoot

The girls have loved their dance classes with Miss Heidi!  Heidi is in our ward, and does such an amazing job.  She is a phenomenal dance teacher.  Tonight was their recital and they both did great!  I love watching these girls dance. 

 

 

 

Last Day of School!

Annie finished 2nd grade and Leah finished kindergarten!  It was nice Dan had the day off today so he could come to Leah’s kindergarten graduation ceremony.  They had a little program where the kids sang a few songs and received a certificate.   

Leah’s wonderful kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Chonez (who had her first baby at the beginning of May), and her little best friend in class, Layla. 

 

This girl is definitely ready for 1st grade!  She’s going to love going all day now and eating lunch at school.

Dance Show–Snow White

Saturday was the girls’ school dance show.  This year they did Snow White.  It was so cute!  And it was so fun that Grandma, Grandpa, and Brian were here to see it!  Leah was a bluebird and Annie was a poison apple.  They both did so great!

Grandma and Grandpa Walton’s Visit (and Brian too!)

Mary flew in on Saturday, June 1st in the afternoon to come help with the baby.  It was so nice to have her!!  Especially since Dan was back to work and the kids were still in school.  Just being able to leave the baby and James at home with her when I had to drive the girls to school and to all their activities was so nice.  She helped with meals and cleaning and played with the kids and held the baby and was just around for some adult conversation.  I hope she knows how much we appreciate everything she did!

I love how her first bath was truly a family event!

On Thursday, June 6th, David and Brian flew in.  We had such a great weekend!  They got to see Annie’s school play, we went to Yogurt Beach, out to dinner, shopping at the outlets, saw the girls’ dance show, and even made a trip to Tahoe Saturday evening!
